If you’re on Facebook and check my page there, you’ll know that my brother’s fiancee went missing for nine days and was finally found dead in her car. Just tragic, and another huge hit of ugly that Richard has had to absorb in the past two years.
So… most of my energy has been poured into dealing with real life, and while I’ve been making some progress on the new novel, I just haven’t had the bandwidth available for this blog lately.
I’m headed to Topeka this weekend for the Kansas State Book Festival — Doc is being honored. I’ll be speaking at 3 PM on Saturday, Sept, 15, in the Kansas State History Museum. If you’re anywhere nearby, come say hello!
