Take me now, Lord!

Had to share this review of Epitaph for the Dallas Morning News by Allen Barra, the respected author of Inventing Wyatt Earp: his life and many legends. I may have the last sentence tattooed on my arm.

Just kidding. I hate tattoos. But… Wow.

  1. WOW!!!!! This is SO AWESOME!!!! And just one more reason why we are SO HAPPY to hear that you are continuing your writing!!! 🙂 🙂

  2. “If you pass up Epitaph because it’s a Western, you’re making a mistake. Mary Doria Russell has lifted the participants in the frontier’s most famous gunfight out of the realm of genre fiction and catapulted them into the realm of literature.” Well said.

How fabulous. And deserving! I was almost nervous to read Epitaph because I loved Doc so very much…but it was truly brilliant. I couldn’t move on to a new book for days afterward because I wasn’t ready to let go of it in my mind.
